That is why we are committed to the implementation of environmental improvements in all our activities, especially those that have an impact on: care for the environment, efficiency in the use of resources and energy, control and substitution of products and their recycling.

We understand that a correct environmental management must include the integral control of all aspects that can create environmental impacts, in our case, especially those that affect the quality of water, soil and air, the protection of the natural environment and the conservation of natural resources.

For this reason, the General Management of Blau Hotels is committed to:

► Become directly involved in environmental management.
► Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements that affect our business, especially those related to the environment.
► Periodically review and update the policy and objectives of our environmental system.
► Incorporate improvement actions and objectives related to hotel circularity, in the areas of energy, water, materials and resources and food management, with the aim of reducing the generation of waste and the consumption of natural resources.
► Review the environmental practices of our suppliers by encouraging the adoption of environmental criteria, especially with regard to the purchase of environmentally friendly products and materials.
► Implement necessary measures to avoid or reduce environmental impacts on air, water and soil.
► Protect the natural and scenic values of the environment.
► Raise staff awareness of the responsibility assumed in relation to the environment, providing them with the necessary training.
► To keep our customers informed of our environmental policy.

In order to apply the principles set out in this policy, action plans, objectives and targets are developed to enable continuous improvement.Evaluation of the effectiveness of these plans will be based on regular environmental audits and management review.
